Murtha Cullina LLP adds Entertainment and Sports Practice
Murtha Cullina LLP is pleased to announce the establishment of an Entertainment and Sports Practice Group.

With the addition of Attorney William F. Fitzgerald, who chairs the Group, the firm is now representing clients in the entertainment and sports arena. Attorneys in the Group represent local, national, and international clients including professional athletes, actors, models, producers, directors, photographers, authors, and industry executives, in transactions involving agreements such as artist management, literary publishing, film and television, record contracts, models/model agencies and casting companies, professional sports, and the negotiation of employment agreements and contracts for industry executives. Mr. Fitzgerald has long-standing relationships with business managers, sports and talent agents, publicists, literary agents, and photographer representatives.

The Entertainment and Sports Practice Group also represents clients in litigation matters, including breach of contract and fiduciary duty obligations, right of publicity and privacy, copyright and trademark infringement, and court confirmation of minor’s contracts. In addition, the group manages immigration matters for international talent and athletes.

Attorneys also serve as outside general counsel to a number of prominent clients. Current sports clients include Mika Zibanejad, Center for the New York Rangers. Other New York clients include a public relations firm, a hospitality group, a model management company, and a marketing company. In Connecticut, clients include a digital music recording, video media production, and independent record label company, and a Master Chocolatier and handmade artisan chocolates company.

Mark your calendar for July 25th so you don’t miss our last 2019 Concert On The Green taking place on the beautiful front lawn of the “Fish Church” at 1101 Bedford Street, Stamford, CT.

A free, family-friendly concert alternative, just bring a blanket or chairs to enjoy a lively evening of music, dancing and fun!

We start with a carillon concert at 7 p.m., featuring guest George Matthew, the Carillonneur for Middlebury College and Norwich University, performing in our 56-bell soaring tower. The Merlin Band plays at 8 p.m.

Bring a picnic dinner or enjoy tasty food selections by M and M Steaks food truck. Check out their fantastic menu.

Free parking is available in our church lot off Bedford Street.
